This is a recipe I got from my sister Paula. We grew up sharing a room, clothes, laughter and sometimes tears. The journey was safer and happier for me because we were together. Paula is a beautiful spirit and has always been as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. Patient, kind, understanding & giving she is all these things and more. I am a better person today for all the years we spent with each other. "Dixie Caviar" is a favorite recipe of ours and I am pleased to pass it on to you.

Dixie Caviar

 

Ingredients:
2 Cans Diced Garlic Tomatoes (drained)

1 Can Black Eyed Peas

1 Can Black Beans

1 Can Northern Beans

1 Can Chick Peas/Garbanzos

3 Cloves Garlic (chopped)

1 Cup Onion (chopped)

1 Green Pepper (chopped)

1 Tbs. Fresh Chopped Cilantro (or more)

2 Tbs. Olive Oil

1/4 Cup Fat Free Italian Dressing

Dash of Tabasco Sauce

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Directions:
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate over night.
